About Soul-Lifted Sisters Prayer Ministry and Outreach:

Soul-Lifted Sisters Prayer Ministry was founded by Dr. Erania Witherspoon affectionately known as (Minister Rainey), under the guidance and leading of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in May 2012.

 

This vision shown by the Holy Spirit is to empower, encourage, help, love, and pray one for another! 

 

Minister Rainey began to pray for women in need of individual prayer daily and would text prayer request to other Prayer Warriors to stand in agreement with her. She would also send weekly inspirational updates and scriptures to anyone willing to read it which then turned into our monthly ministry newsletter.

 

Just 3 months later on August 12, 2012, Soul-Lifted Sisters joined Facebook social media. By joining this social media, many doors opened to reach more women around the world. After receiving revelation, the ministry was officially birth.

 

On October 6, 2012, Soul-Lifted Sisters filed for registration of fictitious name. This would allow the ministry to officially use the name “Soul-Lifted Sisters”. Our ministry name was inspired by a Mother’s Day card received from Sister Dione Jones. October 12, 2012, our organization received its FEIN # from the Internal Revenue Service. November 16, 2012, Soul-Lifted Sisters filed for Article of Incorporation establishing us as a non-profit 501 (c) (3) organization.

 

December 6, 2012, continuing to press forward on the mission and vision to bring women together, our weekly Thursday night Intercessory Faith Charge Prayer line was birthed. Minister Trudie Harris was the first Prayer Warrior to pray on this Anointed Appointed Prayer Line. We currently have a team of 9 Prayer Leaders, 4 Benediction Leaders, and 1 Worship Leader.

 

June 14, 2013, our website launched (www.soul-liftedsisters.com) which allow individuals to submit prayer request, learn about our many missions, and see how we help the community.

 

June 22, 2013, after just 1 year of Ministry we birthed our “Food for Soul” Monthly Outreach. We go out and minister the word of God, offer prayer, care packs, and feed over 150+ less fortunate men and women each last Saturday of the month. To date we have served over 19,000 meals to the homeless community.

May 19, 2014, we finally had enough seeds to open a ministry bank account. Evangelist Janice Stevens was the first financial supporter to electronically sow into our organization.

 

June 1, 2014, Cards of Encouragement was birthed. We send out encouragement cards monthly to the sick and bereaved families for an entire year.

January 1, 2016, we moved into our next phase of our Ministry Outreach - The birth of our Chemotherapy Care Packs! This was inspired while visiting and ministering to a young lady fighting cancer in San Diego, CA. We provide complimentary chemo care packs and ship them around the world to children, women, and men.

May 19, 2017, we hosted our 1st multi-day Prayer Conference.

​

February 2018, we held our 1st Ministry Fundraiser. Which we continue to do each year to raise money for Outreach Services to the Community.

March 10, 2018, we launched our quarterly Prayer Walk Initiative.

​

March 23, 2019, we stepped into our next Phase of Outreach by partnering up with Showers on Wheels to offer hot showers to the homeless community.

​

November and December 2019, we shifted our Ministry of Help to local nursing homes in South Florida where we bless the residents with gifts, care packs, and companionship.

​

April 2020, kicked off our virtual monthly communion to the sick and shut in. We provide communion each 1st Sunday @ 2pm via our prayer line. This special time in the Lord is appreciated by all in attendance.

January 2021, The Soul-Lifted Sisters Volunteerism Scholarship Awards was birthed. Each year we award scholarships to high school and college students.

​

January 2022, Agape Love Family Support was birthed. We provide financial support to struggling families with children.

​

In January 2024, we launched our second "Food for the Soul" Outreach Team which serves the Homeless Community in Central Florida.

​

God has spoken and has shown us we are not done yet. This is just the beginning of the work He has laid out for Soul-Lifted Sisters Prayer Ministry to do.

​

Our other services include volunteering at shelters, providing support to abused women and single mothers. Workshops, counseling sessions, nursing home visits, monthly prayer walks, prayer/daily follow-up calls and monthly communion to the sick and shut in.
